MA Magazine Journalism

This vocational one-year course is aimed at students seeking to pursue a career in the British magazine industry, both periodicals and supplements.

Entry into the profession has become increasingly competitive in recent years and the majority of employers only recruit new journalists who have completed a pre-entry course.

The Department of Journalism at the University of Central Lancashire is recognised as one of the leading centres in Britain for the training of journalists.

The Masters degree in Magazine Journalism completes the programme of postgraduate courses in newspapers, broadcasting and online which have an enviable reputation for the quality of their students and their success in obtaining employment in the industry.
